You want to become a funeral plan provider?

Downloadable Documents

Being a funeral plan provider in the UK means undertaking regulated activities of ‘entering’ into a funeral plan contract and/or ‘carrying out’ a funeral plan contract. Anyone that wants to be a funeral plan provider, whether as their primary business or as part of a wider product and service offering, must be directly authorised to undertake these activities by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
If you don’t intend to be a funeral plan provider but want to distribute funeral plans on behalf of a provider, you will either need to be directly authorised by the FCA or become an appointed representative of an authorised provider.
